The Dame Dip is the perfect first vibrator in my opinion. It can be a super user-friendly external toy, offering a ridge for a little bit of texture and a tapered tip for some pinpointed play. The tapered end also makes it a pretty non-intimidating first internal toy for those who aren't sure if internal toys are their cup of tea, or those experiencing tightness or pain with insertion. It offers five steady (relatively gentle) speeds of vibration and no patterns. Personally I think the steady speeds and lack of patterns makes it a great first vibrator in the sense that it is easy to control and as I say in store "it's not going to do anything crazy"-- which is just to say if patterns tend to frustrate and confuse you (like they did for me with my first vibe), this one might be your best friend.
